The creative atmosphere at the Bauhaus was a magnet for young radical artists who were seeking a broad-minded place, where diverse opinions, theories and artistic styles were encouraged.
Though the Bauhaus has become synonymous today with sleek efficiency and a minimalist aesthetic, when it came to social life on campus, it was anything but austere. As a matter of fact, parties at the Bauhaus were pretty much seen as extensions of the curriculum. Now that is a conceptual mood we can agree with.
